Whenever possible I dedicate a very personal painting to a personality of public life who has rendered outstanding services to his/her fellow men.

2010:  Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling
           (former German minister of Communications) for his mediation work 
            to secure peace (peacekeeping) in the Balkan States

2007:  Pope Benedict XVI
            for his first encyclical “GOD IS LOVE”

2007:  German human rights activist Rüdiger Nehberg 
           with his human rights organization TARGET
           for his fight against Female Genital Mutilation, mainly in Africa

2006:  Germany’s Ex-Chancellor Gerhard Schröder 
            for his consistent opposition against the war in Iraq

2005:  Famous flute player Sir James Galway and his wife Lady Galway 
            as tribute to their exceptional music

2004: Queen Elizabeth II of England
           for more than 50 years of dedication to the British People 
           and the Commonwealth
